EMDR Intensives
Investment
A deposit is required to schedule your pre-intensive interview. If you move forward with an intensive, we apply your deposit toward your package price. If we decide together that an intensive isn’t the right fit, the deposit covers the interview, and you owe nothing more.
Intensives are self-pay only and are not billed to insurance

EMDR Intensives can be done in one or multiple consecutive days of 3 hours of therapy each day
After your post-intensive interview, you can let me know if you’d like to schedule additional intensive days or if you feel good to stop there. It is important to note I have a small number of weekly therapy spots available Monday-Wednesday. If you would rather do weekly therapy instead of an intensive, you can join my waitlist and use your insurance benefits. The average wait time to see me specifically is 6-8 months. Intensive clients do not automatically become weekly therapy clients afterward.
- Have you been feeling that something profound has yet to change, but you’re not quite sure how to shift all the way into a new experience of yourself with your current therapist?
- Do you cognitively understand things and know things, yet still emotionally feel differently, and your body is still confused or stuck in the past?
- Are you curious about how intensive EMDR therapy can help as you work with your primary talk therapist?
- Have you been meaning to get into weekly therapy for a while now, but your schedule has been so hectic and demanding that a weekly therapy appointment feels more overwhelming than supportive?
- Do you need help, and a lot of it, right now, and you don’t want to spend months in the traditional weekly model of therapy treatment to feel better?
- Are you a current, weekly client who is needing extra, focused support quickly? Maybe you’re frustrated, feeling like you’ve hit a plateau in your current therapy. Despite all the work you’ve done, there’s still something holding you back, keeping you from experiencing the freedom you know is possible.
- Are you someone who just prefers to work intensively?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, Intensives may be exactly what you have been looking for
If you’re in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest ER. Intensives are not crisis care.
- Intensive trauma-focused therapy is well tolerated in patients with PTSD, enabling faster symptom reduction with similar, or even better, results, while reducing the risk that patients drop out prematurely. Learn more here and here.
- Intensive EMDR treatment is feasible and is indicative of reliable improvement in PTSD symptoms in a very short time frame. Learn more here.
- An intensive program using EMDR therapy is a potentially safe and effective treatment alternative for complex PTSD. Learn more here.
- Even compared to other trauma therapy, the intensive format may decrease treatment time, because of time not spent on a) checking in at the beginning of each session, b) addressing current crises and concerns, c) focusing on stabilizing and coping skills that you won’t need after trauma healing. Learn more here.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers must give patients without insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. Ask us for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. For more info, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
